Mercat de la Boqueria
Not only one of Barcelona´s most famous market but one of Europe´s largest food markets. You can find everything from exotic fruits to coloured spices, infinite types of candies and freshly pressed juices. You can also find some bars inside where you can enjoy tapas, drinks lunch or dinner. It´s usually very packed so be very careful with your personal belongings.
Port de Barcelona
You must take a stroll around the port of Barcelona. There you can find the huge shopping mall Maremagnum and also de Aquarium de Barcelona. You can also take a walk to the Passeig Maritim to enjoy the sea views and the beaches.
Tibidabo
Tibidabo
This theme park, opened in 1905 and known to be one of the oldest working theme parks in the world. It stands 512 metres above the city and has one of the best views of the city. The Sagrat Cor church and statue of Christ is visible from almost anywhere in Barcelona.
Parc de la Ciutadella
Enjoy a morning run or an afternoon picnic in the biggest green area right in the city center next to El Born neighbourhood. Its a beautiful green space with lovely architecture and a laid-back atmosphere where people chill, do yoga, play instruments or read books.
Bunkers del Carmel
This hill, a former bunker from the Spanish Civil War, is located next to Park Guell and offers one of the best 360º views over the city. A perfect picnic spot during spring or autumn.
